Adaro Indonesia Receives Gold Proper Award for the Third Time
On Monday, 14 December 2020, the Minister of Environment and Forestry, Siti Nurbaya Bakar, witnessed virtually by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, K.H. Ma'ruf Amin, presented the PROPER Gold 2020 award to the representative of PT Adaro Indonesia (Adaro), Priyadi at the Manggala Wanabakti Auditorium, Jakarta. This is the third PROPER Gold Award for Adaro, which shows the company's outstanding performance in environmental management, beyond compliance.
In the implementation of good mining practices, Adaro continues to carry out various innovations in environmental management such as developing biodiesel facilities, ultra-super critical power plants, renewable energy power plants, participating in water treatment projects throughout Indonesia, implementing sustainable community development program, reducing the mining area emission to create value for Adaro group, local communities and the country.
