ROM MANAGEMENT OPERATION SUPERVISOR

Job responsibilities

Oversee the operational activities of ROM (Run of Mine) and Traffic Management to ensure the achievement of established plans and targets in the safest, most effective, and efficient manner.

• Ensure that ROM operations are conducted with the best practices, efficiently and correctly.
• Ensure the implementation of safety, health, and environmental standards (SHE) in ROM operations under your responsibility.
• Coordinate with contractors and the Coal Logistics Team regarding loading equipment at the ROM for Coal Outloading activities and feeding equipment to the Crusher.
• Plan and manage Traffic Management for coal trucks from the ROM to Segment 4 Gate.
• Execute maintenance activities for ROM, including access roads, bases, embankments, and drainage systems.
• Ensure the FIFO (First In, First Out) system is adhered to at the ROM.
• Ensure coal quality is maintained to minimize contamination, dilution, and large coal pieces.
