RESETTLEMENT SENIOR EXECUTIVE

Job responsibilities

  • Responsible in planning, coordinating, and implementing the resettlement housing, communal facilities, and associated livelihood restoration infrastructure. The role involves working closely with affected communities, government agencies, and project stakeholders to ensure that resettlement scopes adhere to legal and ethical standards, minimize social impacts, and in alignment with best practices.
  • Lead the planning of project that contribute to sustainable and equitable outcomes for both the project and affected population
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders and consultants to develop a comprehensive resettlement housing and community infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and permitting processes related to resettlement and construction project.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets and ensure adherence to the overall timelines and budgetary constraints.
  • Coordinate and manage all project activities, including procurement, consultants and contractors’ management, quality control and safety compliance.
  • Engineering management, design submission and review process and technical throughout the project phases.
  • Integrate and collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment of the overall project milestones.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve issues, and escalate concerns as necessary.
  • Monitor project performance and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Actively involved in the operational and administrative functions including budgeting, scheduling, staff management and performance.

Job requirement

  • Bachelor's Degree of Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • Have experience in LARAP
  • Having minimum 6 years experience in project and construction management including Infrastructure design (housing, road and bridge, water, electricity etc), Project management, National and international regulations, Sensitivity to cultural differences and an understanding of the cultural aspects relevant to resettlement planning
  • Willing to be placed in Malinau, North Kalimantan
