Adaro Energy: 4Q Coal Production +7% on Year to 13.31 Million Tons

JAKARTA–PT Adaro Energy (ADRO.JK) said Friday coal production rose 7% on year in the fourth quarter to 13.31 Mt in spite of higher-than-average rainfall.
The Indonesian-listed coal miner said full-year coal output, however, fell slightly to 47.19 million tons from a record 47.67 million tons.
“As the coal market rebounded toward the end of 2012 our sales volume went up 12% year-over-year [in the fourth quarter] to 13.95 million tons,” the company said in a filing to the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
