PORT ENGINEER

Job responsibilities

  • Perform all maintenance activities, dry-docking, repair operations and provides operations instruction to ensure that maintenance activities are meeting the operating purpose.
  • Monitor all maintenance activities to ensure engineer on board have met standards/rules of safety and environmental sustainability in order to minimize accident.
  • Check maintenance report of the chief engineer on each month in accordance with the standards of the ISM code.
  • Coordinate with purchasing department to ensure the spare parts and other consumable goods in order to avoid any failure.
  • Create report daily activities to the Technical Departement Head and recommends the development of service strategy maintenance/repairs, including investment in technology/new tools.

Job requirement

  • Min Diploma III from Marine Engineering, Marine Sertification (ATT III)
  • Min 5 years of working experience as Port Engineer
  • Good competencies in Oil tanker specialized, tanker familiarzation, ISM Code by BKI Class, and Vessel understanding
