Job responsibilities

Collect, process and report on data from the field, carrying out field activities that have been arranged in the form of geology mapping, monitoring activity logging, drilling and sampling, in order to achieve results in line with the deadlines and set targets.

• Doing mapping / geological mapping as a basis for exploration activities to determine the spread of rocks, coal and non-coal or other mineral content
• Conducting drilling well site and monitor to ensure the appropriate positioning drill point and to determine the depth of the coal based on data cutting drilling
• Oversee the activities of logging to ensure the actual depth of rock that becomes the target (in this case coal) to know the specific characteristics or rock types based on the geophysical logs
• Collect, record, process and report data to the Geology Superintendent for evaluation and sent to Modelling Geologist
• Sampling, split core samples of coal into several sections according to the standards used before being sent to the laboratory for analysis.
