Senior Geology Modeller

Job responsibilities

Plan, create and develop models of geology associated with a project that will be and are being run as well as data processing and geology to get fast and accurate results that are used to support the success of a project.

To evaluate the database: lithology, Coordinat Bor, Quality, Topography to be loaded in the model database
Checking the coal seam correlation (thickness, quality) to make a seam stratigraphy (lithology)
Make: geological model (model of coal, rock and quality); Cross Section, Contour Structure, isopach Seam (Iso Thickness), Iso Quality, Subcropline seam, drill data validation, validation of the model results, Statistic bore and the model poured into geology models
Calculating the amount of reserves each seam by standard imposed such as: ISO, USGS, JORC, or other standards are used to obtain geological resource data.
Make Map Section Geology, Geological Resource Map, Contour Map Structure, Map Qualitas coal. Map of geological reserves, mining map Reseve (pit reserve) to produce a map - a map of geology and mines (graphical output)
Define and categorize areas of potential coal (Measured, Indicated and Inferred) to produce Geological Resource Statement
Provide input additional drilling to improve and develop the geological model in an area that has the potential to be mined.
Creating a model documentation in accordance with the modeling procedure
Creating a geological report (database, structure, quality, resource & reserve, etc.) the results of the model freehand.

Job requirement

Bachelor Degree in Geology with min GPA 3.00
Have max 15 years experience as Geology Modeller
Have certification in: Pengawan Operasional Pertama, Software Minescape (Stratmodel & Open Cut Planning), Feasibility Study of Coal Mine, and Coal Quality.
