Adaro Energy’s investor relations team was pleased recently to have a presence at the Canada-ASEAN Business Forum in Singapore, the inaugural event from the newly formed Canada-ASEAN Business Council.

The Forum on October 8 and 9 brought together over 200 business leaders and senior government officials from Canada and Southeast Asia to discuss issues of trade and commerce along with the impending integration of the ASEAN Economic Community.

Pictured here is Investor Relations head Cameron Tough taking part on the panel discussion “Where to Invest in ASEAN Energy and Resources” on October 9.

To find out more about the Canada-ASEAN Business Council, see its website at www.canasean.com/ and find out more about the recent forum at its microsite.

The objectives of the Forum were to raise the profile of the Canada-ASEAN business corridor and to provide a platform for senior executives from Canada and ASEAN to discuss opportunities and challenges of doing business in the region; provide strategic information and intelligence for Canadian companies interested in investing in ASEAN countries; and provide senior-level networking opportunity. The event was timed to coordinate with the APEC CEO Summit in Bali.
