Job responsibilities

To manage, supervise and apply safety, health and environment (K3LH) principles in order that the work processes on board and in the office environment can run safely and comply with government requirements and applicable international requirements.

• Review and define the system and procedures for supervision / application of ISM provisions in all activities on board or workplace in the office in order to create a safe working situation and prevent the occurrence of workplace accidents that can cause harm to the company.
• Ensure socialization of ISM Code and K3LH systems and procedures as it should be to improve compliance with ISM Code requirements.
• Ensure K3LH management system and ISM procedures are implemented in every process of ship operation by internal company and contractor / subcontractor so as to create secure working situation and avoid work accident which can cause harm to company.
• Evaluate programs on the implementation of the ISM Code in each related Department to ensure that the ISM Code runs properly.
• Ensure that investigations of workplace accidents and non-conformities occurring on board and in the office environment are properly implemented to address the root causes of problems so that corrective and preventative actions and correct recommendations can be made to prevent similar accidents from recurring.
• Ensuring socialization related to K3LH issues is conducted routinely through internal safety bulletins and safety meeting forums on K3LH and ISM Code issues to raise awareness of K3LH and ISM Code in offices and on ships.
• Create and submit implementation reports of K3LH and ISM Code to be submitted to Management.
• Ensure UPL / UKL reports and K3LH reports are reported to the government periodically to meet obligations to the government.
• Ensure that programs running in the security management system are running properly so as to create safe and conducive working conditions both on board and in the office to avoid any security disturbances if any.
• Prepare the annual work plan and budget of the HSEQ Department so that the HSEQ Department program is available that is in line with the company's target.
